This is what other's are saying about College Prospects of America.
Tony, I write this letter about roughly 10 years after I had gone through the CPOA program.
I personally can’t thank you enough for helping me with my recruiting process. As you know I
was a talented swimmer and diver that was not being recruited that heavily. Both my parents and I thought: with me being a
Junior Olympic diver, 6 year varsity diver, and 4 year varsity swimmer, I would have coaches knocking my door down, that was
not the case. With your help during my senior year I went from having a hand full of letters from local college in MN, ND,
SD, and WI to the end of my senior year I having roughly 60 letters and over a dozen offers from DI, DII, and DIII schools
all over the US. With my final decision to attend Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. “I can honestly say we at SCSU would have never heard of you
if it wasn’t for CPOA. Where is Minnesota? HAHA” C.J. Moran SCSU Men’s & Women’s Swimming Recruiter. After a very successful
freshman year, I helped led our team to a 7th place finish at the NCAA Division II Championship and became an All-American.
Only to have my diving career shortened due to injuries sustained in an auto accident. After my recovery I was offered a job
with my athletic department and stayed there for several years. I learned a great wealth of knowledge about the recruiting
process and how an athletic department runs. Within a few years of seeing first-hand the limitations, restrictions and strict
rules being implement by the NCAA on recruiting. I knew there were hundreds if not thousands of student athletes out there
that were slipping through the cracks. The only way I knew I could make a difference was by helping student athletes; as you
did for me 10 years ago.
I
can now proudly say that I help Rhode Island & South Shore/Cape Cod student athletes with the CPOA program.
Finally...
I can’t thank you enough for you help; I would never have made it here without your guidance. Sincerely, Travis Walby Senior Recruiting & Financial Aid Consultant CPOA RI & South Shore/Cape Cod CPOA Hall-of-Fame Member www.cpoari.com
Tony, My wife and I want to express our deepest appreciation
for your assistance with our son Travis Walby. You and your team at CPOA headquarters have made his recruiting
experience in our eyes Top Notch. As you know Travis is a very talented athlete and we just could
not figure out why he was not being recruited heavily. After several phone calls and meeting with you, we finally decide to
invest in his college future. Before entering the program Travis only had a hand full of letters from state schools in ND, SD, MN,
and WI. He joined CPOA in October of his Senior year, after just one short year he have over 60 letters for division I,II,
III (who knows what would have happened if he joined earlier). I was pushing for Virginia Tech, but with your help and guidance
Travis decided to attend Southern Connecticut State University, they offered him the best possible financial packet. Even
though Mrs. Walby is sad to see her baby go half way across the country. After two other official visits, we could see it
in his face the minute he got off the plane that SCSU was his school. Again THANK YOU. Knowing how helpful and successful CPOA’s program was for Travis
… I would have had my check book opened and said what do you need? This was a small investment in my sons’ future
and I can’t thank you enough for your help. Time will only tell where he can go from here. Tom & Trudy Walby
College Prospects of America
Thanks to CPOA, my son is currently enrolled at Waldorf College on scholarship and will start football at the college
on 13 Aug 03. I almost started preparing too late. Had I started preparing when my son was a junior, he could
have gotten a full ride at a D-1 school, but by the time I decided, they (scholarships) were all gone. Mr. Tony Udean,
the local CPOA representative, provided me and my family with knowledgeable information. We highly recommend Mr. Udean. NOTE:
Before I contacted Tony, my son had only received 3 letters. Shortly after we started working with Tony, he received
approximately 85 letters and over 10 offers to play football. Although Blaine is a large school, very few recruiters
seem to visit the school. Thanks, Tony. John Williams and Family *************************************
College Prospects of America, Inc.
The reason for my letter is to provide some thoughts on how wonderful College Prospects of America is to work with and
the results your process secured.
We had been sending letters to select colleges for almost a year with a modest interest being generated.
That was confusing to us. Katie was a four year starter in volleyball at Cretin Derham Hall High School and had played
in the best Club teams (finishing second in the nation once) in the Twin Cities. We were told by local high school and
club coaches that Katie was one of the best in the state at her position, a definite Division I player but College Recruiters
didn't show much more than passive interest in her.
In mid September my daughter Katie received a letter through her high school from Jim Burian, Area Director of College
Prospects of America describing your services. I called Jim for more information and his genuine interest in helping
us in the process was obvious. We set up a meeting in our home (about a two hour drive each way for Jim) for the next
evening for him to meet the family and Katie and discuss our goals and interest. His sincerity, candid feedback around
our expectations and overall professionalism were absolutely profound. We signed up that night and he completed the
necessary paperwork to start the process.
We received letters asking for more information from over 400 Division I, II, and III programs. Katie was contacted
by telephone by over 50 schools, selected her five official visits, received five full scholarship offers and made her final
choice (a $25,000 annual value).
It's all about marketing and credibility of having a third party present an athlete for consideration vs. the perceived
self serving or biases of an individual or family. College Prospects has a great reputation in college athletic departments
and their letters are read and their Web site is viewed very heavily by college recruiters. The exposure the athlete
receives is what makes it work. Several coaches indicated to us "we didn't know Katie was still looking; we thought
she was committed." "I had her in a drill group at Nike Camp two years ago but when I saw her picture on the Web site
it all came back to me and I went after her", this quote was from the coach who successfully recruited Katie.
Thanks College Prospects and Jim Burian. I have another high school freshman volleyball player and I'll be calling
Jim in two years.
Sincerely, Gary Plummer

To Whom it May Concern:
I would like to sincerely thank CPOA and its efforts in trying to get exposure for me to college coaches around the country.
After signing up with CPOA, the phones started ringing off the hook. Without College Prospects of America, I would not
have the chance to wrestle for the University of Pittsburgh, a Divison I wrestling team. Thank you.
Sincerely, Jake Nelson
